Hiking in American Samoa


Hi all! Here is my first attempt to use iMovie to create my own little movie trailer about a beautiful hike Mr. Runyon and I took last week. Along the route of our hike were 7 waterfalls, each leading into the other, but we were only able to hike to the first three. I learned a lot about video taping and using iMovie, so my next movie should be vastly improved. Still, I enjoyed the process, and look forward to using this in the classroom!! I hope you enjoy!

      Me too, Eddie!! Although I didn't slide down the water slide/fall, I would have if there hadn't been so many Samoan dudes watching!! Glad you liked it. BTW...how are things with you??

      Hi Jordan and Jenna! You would love the water slide. The guys who were watching were some Samoan high school kids who were up there doing the same thing we were!! And people here are very friendly and not very shy. I think you would like the people here!! I miss you girls!

      The hike we did was hard enough!! Some parts of the climb were like climbing up a ladder (but up a jungle) or even rock climbing... kinda dangerous. Also, it was a lot of work just getting to these places. I couldn't take video of us climbing up the mountain because I needed my hands to hold on!!

    This was really cute! I am so jealous of your fun day - it is raining and 36 degrees here in Fredericksburg. What a great memory to bring back! Love, your favorite niece named Amy
